NOAC 2018

The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is the premier event of the Order of the Arrow, and is Scouting’s second-largest national event. Over 6,000 Arrowmen from across our nation gather for an inspirational and unforgettable experience full of fellowship, training, adventure, and fun!

During NOAC, Arrowmen will participate in a six-day conference which includes top notch training sessions, cool recreational opportunities, evening shows full of theatrics and special effects, and exciting programs.

The 2018 NOAC will be held from July 30 – August 4, 2018 at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Arrowmen can travel to NOAC with a contingent from their lodge, or as a staff member supporting the thousands of Arrowmen attending in the conference.

Participation Details

We are expecting to have a large number of interested members from the Lodge wanting to attend NOAC. To begin, our lodge has received a modest number of slots for the Conference. A 3:1 youth to adult ratio has been put in place by the National OA Committee for all lodges nationwide.

Conference Fee Details

The estimated fee for NOAC 2018 will be between $750 – $1000 including transportation and lodging. The Lodge actively works to raise funds to reduce the cost for youth participants. The final cost to each participant will be determined prior to the event after fundraising has been completed and trip logistics are finalized. To register you only need to complete the registration form attached and submit it along with a $100.00 deposit. Your $100.00 deposit will then be credited toward any future balance. If a deposit is submitted and you are unable to join our contingent, then any money paid will be refunded.

The National Order of the Arrow Committee believes that the national conference is one of Scouting’s best program values. The conference fee covers all meals, lodging, insurance, transportation service at the conference site, and programs during the conference.

If Interested

If you are and interested in participating at NOAC 2018, an application is to be downloaded and submitted for consideration to attend. Following submission, the lodge leadership will review all submitted applications and select participants and wait list those not initially selected. While we sincerely wish that we could take everyone who is interested, we must work within our given allocation. A waiting list will be compiled for youth and adult members should a slot open up or the lodge be granted extra slots. All those submitting this form will be notified of their status in the fall of 2017.
