Becoming a Lodge Officer

Becoming an officer in Kittatinny Lodge is a rewarding experience that will help you expand your leadership abilities. Below are basic descriptions of what the six officers do on a regular basis. There may be additional duties and responsibilities in addition to the overview provided. All those seeking an officer role should be comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people, preparing and presenting reports, writing articles, answering questions from lodge members, and leading others. Serving as a lodge officer will present challenges but will help you to grow as a leader. It offers a unique and significant way to serve your fellow Arrowmen. One should consider the time commitment involved with these six positions if interested. While the time commitment will certainly be manageable, it will also be important to fulfill the expected responsibilities. Help will always be given to those who ask. Please contact the Lodge Adviser should you have any questions regarding the slating process, nominations, or the positions in general. Thank you for considering serving your fellow Arrowmen in such a pivotal role.
