Spots Still Open for NE-6B Conclave June 7-9.

We’ve confirmed with the Section that we can still accept registrations to the NE-6B Section Conclave (June 7-9 at Horseshoe Scout Reservation, Chester County Council) to accommodate new members that joined at the April and May Ordeal Weekends, as well as to allow any regular members who did not register by the original deadline to do so. Our initial quota was already full at 35, but they are allowing us to bring more.

Online registration can be found on the council web calendar at: http://www.hmc-bsa.org/Event.aspx?id=4246 and it will be open through the holiday weekend, and will close at midnight, Monday, May 27.

For our newest members, we talked about Conclave at your Ordeal weekend, but it is a gathering of the 4 lodges in our Section ranging from western Maryland to Hawk Mountain Council.  We are expecting a few hundred Arrowmen to be in attendance for fun, food, fellowship, and training.  If you are new to the OA, this is a great opportunity to see another aspect of the Order of the Arrow, without service, for a weekend event.

Attendees must arrange their own transportation to/from the event which is being held at Horseshoe Scout Reservation, near Rising Sun, Maryland, about 1.5 hrs from our camp.  If you need assistance with transportation, we can put you in contact with others who are attending from our lodge. Camping will either be in lean-to “Adirondak-style” shelters or traditional summer camp tent sites.

Important: Any attendee that has medical, dietary, or other special requirements must submit those to the host lodge on the attached form ASAP (they were due May 15), or they may not be accommodated. Mail completed forms to: conclave2019@octoraro22.org .
