1998 Section NE-4A Conclave
Kittatinny Lodge 5 sponsored section NE-4A’s Conclave on May 29-31, 1998. Lodges from the section gathered at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and brotherhood.
The Publications committee of Kittatinny 5 spent their Conclave weekend collecting the news and sharing it with the delegates in a special newsletter entitled Smoke Signals. Each edition features some beautiful photography along with stories about the events of the day. Three editions were produced, and can be downloaded from the following links as a PDF.
Lots of photographs were taken at Conclave. Here are some photos of the people, places, and events that made Conclave memorable:
Bill Whipporwill Thompson, Chief of the Lenape Nation, made a special appearance at Conclave and spoke about the Order’s special role in Lenape cultural preservation.
