September Weekend Approaching Soon

September Weekend Approaching Soon

It feels like just yesterday “Springtime blossomed into Summer” and now  “Summer into Autumn ripened”! That means the September Service weekend is almost upon us.

The deadline to submit your weekend registration form is Friday September 12th. You can also complete the online registration and save a tree! Please be courteous and submit your registration on time!

Any dues paid ordeal member who has been in the order for at least 10 months is eligible to take their Brotherhood at the September weekend as well. If you plan on taking your brotherhood, you must submit an additional $18.00 along with your registration fee to pay for your sash and pin. For more information about taking your brotherhood, make sure you check out the newly updated Brotherhood Review Checklist. An added incentive to take your Brotherhood at this weekend is that this will be the last performance of the old ceremony.

The theme of the weekend is State Fair. Word on the street is that there will be a pie eating contest and other festivities. There will also be a patch auction to support the 2015 NOAC contingent. NOAC fundraiser chenilles will also be available for pickup. At the Sunday Quarterly meeting, the 2015 slate will be voted into office. If you plan to run against the proposed officer slate, you must complete a Lodge Officer Petition form and submit this to the Council Service Center by Friday September 5th.

The ordeal committee is still in need of charcoal donations. Please see the previous post to see how you can help.

Any additional questions regarding the September weekend? Visit the FAQ page or contact a lodge officer through the message center for more information.
